it would work just like gearing on a mountain bike if you put 3 difrent sized sprokets on the back....in the easy pedalng like up hills the smallest sprockt would catch first but then when you pedal harder it would go to the next sproket

it is very sickaning to scroll through this and see all the commenbts of people luaghing at this and taking it as a joke...when a fellow biker dies or gets seriously injured by drunk drivers we shoulddnt be laughing we should be supportive of the people that shared that same love for the sport as we do it doesnt matter what they ride DH XC road street anything its all biking... i always here people saying they wont to expand this sport and make it more heard of through out the world and is this how you want your name coming up as the guy who luaghed at fellow riders who were injured or killed just take a miniut to think about it give these riders some respect and think about it next time......

get a life man this site is for the bikers who love to be able to talk to someone who actuly knows about are sport..i get a bunch of crap at school and in my town for being one of the only kids who rides mountain ive gotten beatten up for it before and then i found this site were i can talk to people who know what its all about but its people like you that ruin it for us leave us alone would ya go bother someone else
